Private internet service provider WorldLink has started providing free wi-fi service at Shey Phoksundo Lake from March 21.
Chief Minister of Karnali Province Mahendra Bahadur Shahi and Chairman of WorldLink Dilip Agrawal jointly inaugurated the free wi-fi service.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, Chairman Agrawal said that the service has been expanded aiming at tourists travelling to the destination. Realising the significance of internet in remote areas, WorldLink has been providing free wi-fi services, he added. Meanwhile, Karnali Province CM Shahi said internet services in such areas will help to introduce the tourist destination in the international market and also help to develop the destination.
