Yamaha Nepal celebrated the 71st anniversary of Yamaha Motor Co. with nationwide community service programmes, customer offers and employee recognition events across all seven provinces.
The celebrations began simultaneously at Yamaha showrooms and company-operated outlets across the country, where inauguration ceremonies and cake-cutting events were held. The company also honoured employees who have completed 20 years of service, while more than 100 dealers participated virtually.
As part of the anniversary, Yamaha offered a 25 percent discount on labour charges at its service centres and launched a "7 Provinces, 7 Customers" campaign, awarding full service cashback to one customer from each province.
The company organised blood donation camps in major cities, including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dhangadhi, Bharatpur, Bardibas and Itahari, collecting around 350 units of blood. A tree plantation programme was also conducted at Yamaha's Biratnagar plant.
In Parsa, Yamaha announced sponsorship of the education of seven underprivileged children through Grade 12 and honoured long-time customers, veteran mechanics and entrepreneurs for their contributions.
Chairman of MAW Rides Pvt. Ltd. Vishnu Agarwal said Yamaha supports around 400 families in Nepal through direct and indirect employment and remains committed to social initiatives ranging from traffic awareness to blood donation and environmental conservation.
The company also partnered with Kathmandu Police to support traffic management and road safety awareness, while Yamaha's riding community, BlueStreaks, organised a charity ride and distributed educational materials at an orphanage in Budhanilkantha.
