KATHMANDU:
Zenith Travels (Pvt.) Ltd today announced that it is no longer the General Sales Agent (GSA) in Nepal of Himalaya Jet Ltd., United Kingdom.
Issuing a public notice, Joy Dewan, Managing Director for Zenith Travels Pvt. Ltd, informed that his company decided to terminate GSA agreement with Himalayan Jet as the airlines has not been able to convince regarding the certainty of the scheduled operation to Nepal.
"This notice has been issued to the public interest as the notification of the Zenith Travels (Pvt.) Ltd. is no longer the General Sales Agent (GSA) in Nepal of Himalaya Jet Ltd., United Kingdom. To this effect, we have already issued the termination letter to the Himalaya Jet Ltd. incorporated under the Companies Act of England and Wales bearing Company Number 14347500.
Zenith Travels Pvt. Ltd. has served termination letter to the Himalaya Jet on March 21, 2024 despite our arduous efforts and substantial investment for the interest of Himalaya Jet Ltd," the notice issued by Zenith Travels read.
This notice is published while the company retains all legal remedies at the national and international level, it added.
In September 2023, Himalaya Jet appointed Paul Argyll (Flight Director) as the General Sales Agent for the UK & Joy Dewan (Zenith Travels) for Nepal for the UK route.
