Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.
Till date, 2,139,634 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 3,325 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
At present, there are 68 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 1,494.
80 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 273,431.
As many as 121 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 269,876.
Meanwhile, no fatality was reported by the Ministry today. The country's COVID-19 death toll remains at 2,061.
As of today, the country has witnessed 273,431 cases of the coronavirus infection while 269,876 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 2,061 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
