KATHMANDU, APRIL 14

Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.

Till date, 2,335,084 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 5,537 PCR tests were performed in the last 24 hours.

At present, there are 77 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 5,008.

836 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 282,890.

As many as 208 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 274,812.

Meanwhile, four fatalities were confirmed by the Ministry today, with which the country's COVID-19 death toll has reached to 3,070.

As of today, the country has witnessed 282,890 cases of the coronavirus infection while 274,812 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 3,070 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
