Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.

Till date, 2,207,922 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 4,484 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.

At present, there are 66 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 942.

97 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 275,070.

As many as 66 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 271,116.

The total nationwide death-toll remains at 3,012 as no fatality has been recorded in the last 24 hours.

As of today, the country has witnessed 275,070 cases of the coronavirus infection while 271,116 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 3,012 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
