The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests totals to 82

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal dropped to 4,574 on Wednesday as 41 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 978,085 while the death toll remains at 11,950 as no fatalities were recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 961,561 with 213 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 6,175 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 4,790 were PCR tests while 1,385 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 5,496,809 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed 41 positive cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests totals to 82 .

Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.3%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are 106 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
