KATHMANDU: has been working with water colours for almost two decades now. He. He is also the Country Director of International Watercolor Society (IWS), Nepal chapter — there are 55 branches of IWS around the world with its headquarters in Turkey. Gurung won Creative Young Award 2014 awarded by the Ministry of Culture. He is also the winner of Professional Watercolour Category of the art competition organised by Camel Art Foundation, India in 2012. He has plans to work for the development and promotion of Nepali water colour. Here he gets nostalgic about his college days
MY ALMA MATER(S)
I completed BA from Prithivi Narayan Campus, Pokhara in 2001 and MA from Central Department of English, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur in 2004.
I studied English.
College life was merrymaking as well as a learning period for me which cannot be regained.

Time spent with friends.
My friends would request me to paint their girlfriends’ portraits for them.
I learned morality and ways to live my life to make it meaningful.
WORDS TO HEED
Students these days lack morality and ethics. Students should be honest and become good citizens. One should have fun with friends as well as bear the responsibility to make life meaningful.
