MY ALMA MATER (S)

I completed BA in 1975 from Mahendra Morang Adarsha Multiple Campus, Biratnagar. Then I did my MA and PhD from TU, Kirtipur in 1979 and 2005 respectively.

COURSE STUDIED

I studied Political Science; and Nepalese History, Culture and Archaeology.

COLLEGE LIFE

That was the time to enjoy life, work hard and go ahead facing all the obstacles that came on the way.

BEST OF COLLEGE LIFE

I was already married when I started my college life. And the support from my husband and mother-in-law helped me continue my education. That was the best part of my college life.

LASTING MEMORIES

My mother-in-law used to take care of my children during my exams. She always encouraged me to study hard. It is the support from my family that has made me what I am today. Besides that, I had lots of fun while pursuing my BA — I remember going on a picnic with friends among others.

LESSON LEARNT

Never give up in life — nothing is impossible in this world if you put your mind to it. Overcome every challenge with determination and hard work.

WORDS TO HEED

These days everyone has access to information due to the facility of Internet. Use that facility in positive manner to enhance your capability and skill. Have a goal in life and try to achieve it with dedication and hard work. Don’t be afraid to try new things. Develop passion that will help you to be focused in your work.

HOW TO ACE IN COLLEGE

Being a student doesn't necessarily mean being a bookworm. You need fresh and energetic mind to achieve your goal. So, enjoy your free time with friends and do things that interest you along with continuing your studies.
