16 schools make it to semis
KAHTMANDU:
The preliminary round and quarter finals of the Horlicks Genius Nepal 2007 have been completed in 16 centres of five development regions.
Horlicks Genius Nepal 2007, it is a national level quiz context with participation from schools around the nation. However, unlike earlier years the competition will focus not only on your knowledge of numbers but also on your knowledge about the world around you. The contest covers the gamut of general knowledge encompassing Science, Mathematics, History, Geography, Art, Literature, Sports and Current Affairs.
The Schools that have qualified for the semi-final round are Eureka Resident HS School
(Dharan), Tulsi Secondary School (Dang), Siddhartha Vanasthali
Institute (Kathmandu), New Horizon School (Butwal), Siddhartha Sishu Sadan School (Hetauda), International Secondary Public School (Mahendranagar), Himanchal Boarding English School (Pokhara), New English SB School (Janakpur), Vidhya Sadan School (Birgunj), Sagarmatha SB School (Biratnagar), Amarjyoti HS School (Birendranagar), Birendra Sainik Aawasiya Mahavidhyalya (Kavre), Deep Jyoti Vidyashram (Nepalgunj), Little Angel’s School (Birtamode), Small Heaven School (Chitwan), and Aadarsha Vidya Mandir (Lalitpur).
