KATHMANDU: It was quite an opening for Neeldavid’s Salon of Hair and Beauty at Kumaripati, with famous personalities like Shree Krishna Shrestha, Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula, Hari Khadka and Binod Das inaugurating the saloon. After the formal inaugural ceremony of cutting the red ribbon, lighting the lamp and cutting of a cake too, the guests were given a tour of the saloon and briefed on the facilities that one can avail here.

And it looks like actor Shrestha and footballer Khadka were really impressed by it all as they sat down to get new hairdos there and then.

Proprietor Neeldavid Katwal said, “I had a lot of clients from this area who advised me to open up a saloon here. So to cater to their wishes we have.”

Elaborating on the place he said, “This is the fifth saloon and is bigger in space than our other places.

We have used modern equipment and is very hygienic.” Their services include hair styling, colouring, straightening, facial, manicure, pedicure, make-up, among others. Though it is a unisex saloon, they have separate sections for the ladies and gentlemen with qualified, trained staff to do the job.
