KATHMANDU: The setting was the scenic beaches of India’s paradise known as Goa, which was perfect for the wedding of Nirvana Chaudhary, eldest son of Chaudhary Group’s president and MD Vinod Chaudhary, with Indian industrialist Ashok Mittal’s daughter Swati.

Coinciding with the AbhiAsh wedding, the Chaudhary wedding saw the groom dressed to kill in the Nepali daura-suruwal, while the groom’s party or janti was also in the Nepali attire.

According to a press statement issued by the Chaudhary Group, the wedding was attended by former PM Surya Bahadur thapa, bride’s uncle industrialist Lakshmi Mittal, former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh, former PM of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickramasinghe, MP Vinod Khanna, artist Lakshman Shreshta among other distinguished guests.

Ila Arun and VJ Sophie Chaudhary performed for the 500 or so guests. Malaika Arora Khan and Shiamak Davar lent the glam factor to the entire celebrations.
