‘Black’ bride Parker regrets wedding gown
WASHINGTON, DC: Actress Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that she still regrets wearing a black gown for her wedding with Matthew Broderick rather than going for a traditional white gown.
The Sex and the City actress thinks she made a fashion blunder on her very special day.
“(I would) white it up. I’d wear a beautiful, proper wedding dress, like I should have worn on that day,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling America’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
Now, Parker does not want her son James Wilkie to think that black is the traditional wedding attire.
“James Wilkie’s teacher is getting married, and he said, ‘Do you think she will be wearing black?’ I said, ‘No! I can almost assure you.’ Then he said, ‘Do you still regret it?’ and I said, ‘Yes, I still regret it’,” Parker said.
