‘Fraud’ experience made her stronger
LONDON:
Anne Hathaway says she has become a stronger person after a bad experience with ex-fiancé, Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri, who is in jail for fraud. The actress dumped Follieri in June after discovering that he was facing 14 counts of wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. Follieri is currently on trial and is facing a lengthy prison sentence, reports contactmusic.com.
After breaking away from Follieri, Hathaway was forced to make public appearances to promote her film Get Smart and Rachel Getting Married. She put on a brave face and says the trauma will make her a stronger person. She said, “Everything that has happened to me, good and bad, I feel has happened for a reason. I’ve been made stronger from the good stuff and much, much stronger from the bad stuff.” — HNS
