After online scare, Sinead doing fine
DUBLIN: After posting a Facebook status that read like a possible suicide note, singer Sinead O’Connor has been found and is reportedly receiving medical assistance after taking an alleged overdose in a hotel room in Ireland.
A source in the know told Billboard that O’Connor “has been located and is safe”, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
Over the past 24 hours, there have been a series of disturbing posts on O’Connor’s Facebook page, stemming from a battle with Irish folk musician Lunny, the father of her youngest son, Shane, whom the singer alleges needs psychological treatment and Lunny won’t allow her to see him.
The Dublin police had no comment on the situation.
O’Connor’s Facebook post on November 29, which seems to have been written by the Irish singer-songwriter,
detailed her struggle with Lunny over Shane, whom O’Connor says she’s not allowed to see even though he is “unwell”.
In her post, O’Connor also said she was in a hotel room under a different name and had “taken an overdose”.
