KATHMANDU:

September 9 saw Stupa perform for a select crowd at the Classic Encounters at Jatra.

Jazz, funk and blues were the flavour of the evening as the band dug into their vast musical reperotoire to keep the mood upbeat. they even played their own composition Clean blue sky, and several Miles Davies and RB Hancook pieces.

This is the second edition of Classic Encounters, which is a series of exclusive musical show with jazz, blues and fusion at various top-end outlets in Kathmandu. And September 15 will witness two exclusive musical experiences — with Cadenza at the Olive Bar, Radisson and with Stupa at Rodi Bar, Soaltee Crowne Plaza.
