MUMBAI: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is spearheading a training programme for young underprivileged women.

A source close to the project said, “The international brand for which she travelled to Cannes recently celebrated their 100 years with a function . Ash was the guest of honour and she launched an initiative ‘Beautiful Beginnings’ aimed at helping underprivileged girls .”

The insider added, “This project is actually her brainchild. She has done films on women empowerment and she wanted to do something concrete.”

Beautiful Beginnings is a training programme for young women of disadvantaged background social and economic where free education will be given to them so that their career opportunities rise. Agencies
