The Friends of Zoo — FOZ had organised a Winter Day Camp on February 16 and 17. About 73 participants from 25 schools participated in the camp.

We started the camp with a short briefing of the programme followed by an introduction of all participants. We were then given lectures on the inter-relationship between environment and animals. We were also given speech on vultures. We played different games related to environment.

We were divided into different groups for the presentation we had to give the next day.

The day after we were taken for an educational trip to Godavari Botanical Garden. We were taken to the exhibition centre where we got to know a great deal about plants.

The day camp was highly entertaining and an educative one as well as it taught us the importance of balanced environment.
