LONDON: He’s already a football hero and a style icon. Now David Beckham could also become a big screen star. The England star is in talks to appear alongside Hollywood actor Steve Martin in the new Pink Panther movie. The part shouldn’t be too difficult — Becks is poised to make a cameo appearance as a footballer. Shooting for the film is set to begin in May. The story will follow bungling detective Inspector Clouseau — played by Steve Martin — trying to solve the murder of a football coach and the theft of the Pink Panther diamond. Beyonce is also lined up to star in the film.
