Beyonce delays Australian tour
LONDON: R&B superstar Beyonce has pushed back the start of her Australian tour and cancelled two of her dates because of scheduling conflicts.
The Irreplaceable hitmaker was due to take her I Am... world tour Down Under with a show in Brisbane on 12 September.
But the singer has now rejigged the dates so she will begin the Australian leg of the trek in Melbourne on 15 September.
A statement from the star puts the delay down to an "unforeseen change in her international schedule".
The reshuffling of the concerts means fans in Brisbane will be able to see the original opening concert on 20 September (09) but the second show due to take place on 13 September (09) has been cancelled.
Sydney will lose one of Beyonce's three planned gigs there, with the star scrapping her planned performance at the city's Acer Arena on 20 September (09).
Fans with tickets to the cancelled shows will be contacted later this week (beg20Jul09) about refunds.
