Beyonce’s Billboard’s Women of the Year
LONDON: Beyonce is at the number one spot in yet another chart - she has been named Woman of the Year by Billboard magazine.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker has enjoyed another 12 months of stellar successes, with smash hit songs Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) and If I Were A Boy, a number one album, a sold-out world tour, and an invite to sing at U.S. President Barack Obama's inauguration.
Staff at music industry publication Billboard decided the superstar deserves recognition for her achievements - and honoured her at their Women In Music event on 2 October (09).
Previous winners of the accolade include R&B singer Ciara and country star Reba MCEntire.
