Sanju and Anil to lead celebrity football

MUMBAI: The International Indian Film Academy [IIFA] announced the IIFA Foundation Celebrity Football Match, to be held on May 21 from 6 pm (Singapore time) at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore. The announcement was made by the captains of the two teams, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor, at a private gathering in Mumbai. The IIFA Foundation Celebrity Football Match, conceptualised by Wizcraft International Entertainment, will see an array of Indian stars like Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Rahul Khanna, Zayed Khan, Fardeen Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Shahid Kapur, Ajay Devgan and Australian cricketers Brett Lee and Shane Lee. Besides stalwarts from Indian cinema, viewers will also get an opportunity to see eminent local sportsmen, Fandi Ahmad (called Pele of Singapore football) and Sundaram Mooty in action.

Deol in ‘Ghaav’

MUMBAI: Sunny Deol will head the cast of Flash Entertainment Private Limited and Vijayta Televenture Private Limited’s ‘Ghaav... Some wounds will never heal’. Produced by Sunil Saini and Vivek Gill, the film is directed by Gurjit Budwal with the script by Shaktimaan. To be shot in India, Canada and USA, the film will have a lot of special effects. The technical crew will soon be leaving for USA to tie up with a major special effects studio.
