Boyle is hot: Rage against the Machine

LONDON: Rage Against The Machine want to perform with Susan Boyle when they take to the stage in London’s Finsbury Park in June. The American rockers — whose track Killing In The Name was last year’s UK Christmas number one thanks to an Internet campaign to keep X Factor winner Joe McElderry off the top spot — will invite the Wild Horses hitmaker to sing with them when they take to the stage in London’s Finsbury Park at their Victory concert later this year.

Frontman Zack De La Rocha told The Sun newspaper, “We love Susan Boyle, she is hot. She is a great vocalist and we would love to perform Killing In The Name with her. Everybody knows her in the US and she can add vocals to anything. It would be an honour for us.”

The group are playing at Finsbury Park on June 6 to say thanks to their British fans for making them number one after four years of X Factor winners taking the coveted Christmas top spot. — Agencies
