Brad’s advice to ‘Pretty Woman’

NEW YORK: Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt had reportedly warned Julia Roberts not to pursue her now-husband Danny Moder when she first laid eyes on him, as she was still dating Benjamin Bratt.

According to James Spada’s biography titled ‘Julia’, the Oscar-winning actress was attracted to the cameraman when she first spotted him strolling topless across the sets of the 2001 movie ‘The Mexican’ — in which she co-starred with Pitt.

Roberts and Pitt were relaxing in between takes when she allegedly asked the actor, "Who’s that young hunk of burning love?"

Startled Pitt scolded her, saying, "Now, you be a good girl or I am gonna tell on you," before Roberts replied, "Honey, someone needs to strip that boy down and bring him to my trailer". According to Spada, who has failed in his bid to elicit a response from Roberts about the books, it was Danny’s toned body that attracted her. "A friend told me Julia loves the six-pack ab thing," he said.

It’s hard to believe that Hollywood uber hunk Pitt hit the big four-oh last December.

Pitt, who is currently lensing the historic epic ‘Troy’, in which he plays Achilles, has come a long way from his Shawnee, Oklahoma, roots.

Once a choirboy, he traded jobs as a chauffer to strip-a-gram girls and a stint as a chicken — to promote a fast food restaurant — for a role in the US TV soap ‘Dallas’. From there it was just a short hop to his 1991 big break as the sexy cowboy hitchhiker in ‘Thelma And Louise’.

Following his ‘Thelma’ excursion the tousled blonde’s career went from strength to strength as he appeared in a string of popular flicks including ‘Seven’, ‘Seven Years In Tibet’, ‘Snatch’ and ‘Ocean’s Eleven’.
