Britney’s ex hubby hit with rent demand

LONDON: Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline is facing legal action from his former landlords, who are demanding more than $100,000 (£67,000) in unpaid rent and damages.

The owners of Federline's former Tarzana, California home are furious the former back-up dancer allegedly left the property in a state of disarray after moving out in May (09).

The homeowners accuse Federline of breaking tiles and light posts, letting trees and plants die, and leaving empty beer bottles and cigarette butts throughout the property, according to a letter obtained by TMZ.com.

And they're threatening to sue Federline if he doesn't pay the $110,661 (£73,800) he reportedly owes for six months' rent and repair costs.
