KATHMANDU:

On the special occasion of the Day of Russia and 100 years of Russian Cinema a three-day long film festival is being organised from June 23 at Russian Center of Science and Culture. Popular Russian films that have received awards at the Cannes Film Festival will be screened during the festival. The festival is being organised with the intention of providing Nepalis audience a taste of Russian movies.

The schedule for the film festival is as follows:

June 23, 4.30 pm - The Cranes Are Flying; June 24, 3.30 pm - The Hot Snow; June 25, 3.30 pm - A Cruel Romance.
