Celina finds a new supporter in Bipasha

MUMBAI: Bollywood damsel Celina Jaitley, who is a strong supporter of homosexual rights, has found a friend in the Bong beauty Bipasha Basu.

Talking about gay rights Basu said, “We are born with certain natural preferences which we can’t deny. No one can dictate what is good or bad for a person’s sexual experience. It is an individual choice.”

Bipasha’s next coming movie Pankh, which is directed by Sudipto Chattopadhyay, is based on gay rights only. Talking about the movie the actress said “The movie features a boy who goes through the trauma of gender confusion. It revolves around a child who plays a female artist and becomes very popular.

The actress added, “But later when he grows up, he wants to be launched as a hero. In the film, we have delved more into the issue of the confused state of mind rather than homosexuality.”

The actress said further, “I have many homosexual friends and I believe they should do whatever they feel is correct. We are no one to judge their prerogatives. At the end of the day, they are human beings too.”

Bipasha is working in Lamha, in which she is essaying the role of a Kashmiri girl and a comedy flick called All the Best.

At the same time, she is working on Rituparno Ghosh’s Bengali film Shab Choritro Kalpanik.
