Clingy Jessica Simpson
LOS ANGELOS:Jessica Simpson's friends are worried about her following the disappearance of her dog Daisy because the pooch is her closest friend.
Jessica Simpson's relationship ended because she was too "clingy".
The singer-and-actress - whose beloved dog Daisy was taken by a coyote last week - was left devastated when American footballer Tony Romo dumped her in July but friends warn she needs to learn to relax more if she wants to improve her love life.
One pal said: "Jessica is very needy. She is very clingy. She is so sweet, but sometimes because of that she's hard to be around. It's not always easy. She hates to be alone. That's what happened with Tony Romo. Jessica smothers people. She doesn't really have any hobbies. Daisy was exactly what Jessica needed."
Jessica has vowed not to give up searching for Daisy but friends fear the pooch's disappearance could send her over the edge.
The source added to People magazine: "Daisy was her baby. It's going to put her into a tailspin. It will put her into the worst place ever.
"She would cry herself to sleep at night, using Daisy as a pillow."
