Come March, Kumar Sanu sings in capital

Kathmandu: Indian playback singer, Kumar Sanu is scheduled to perform at a cultural programme on March 11 and 12 at Dasharath Rangasala and Hotel Yak and

Yeti, Shankar Paudel of Hamro Nepal said. He also spoke about Kumar Sanu’s eagerness to perform to help raise funds for the underprivileged children in Nepal.Hamro Nepal is a social organisation, which has vigorously been contributing to social causes.

Kumar Sanu’s team will include a troupe of about 22 other artistes comprising musicians and dancers. The show will include performances by Nepali artistes.

Hamro Nepal expects to collect over Rs five million that it has pledged to contribute to Cancer Hospital, Bhaktapur, School for Deaf and Dumb, Naxal and HOPE Nepal, an NGO dedicated to social upliftment. After performances at Kathmandu Kumar Sanu is also scheduled to perform at Shahid Maidan, Biratnagar. — HNS
