I say I can do it

But I know it’s not true

I stare at people staring back .

I always say to myself “I look cool”

But I know I look like a fool

The sound gets stuck in my throat.

I tried not to care about

The heads and blinking eyes

I know not a single face

Why should I even care?

Now I have no stage fright

Now my confidence is up
