Being a face of a growing community in a country like Nepal is no easy task but Sanjan Gautam, popularly known in the Nepal PUBG Mobile Community as CR7 Horaa has been doing quite well for himself in it. Starting out in the competitive PUBG Mobile scene in its early stages, Gautam was recommended by friends to start streaming his gameplay. Then in March 2021, the story of CR7 Horaa began.

"I've always been a good talker and an entertainer. Keeping that in mind, a lot of my friends asked me to try streaming. I tried and in a few months, I grew faster than any streamer in Nepal had and well after that my life changed."

Thanks to his venture into the competitive scene early on, he didn't have to wait long for his audience to grow. When he started streaming his PUBG Mobile gameplays on his YouTube, CR7 Horaa, Gautam had an audience of about 100 people watching his stream live. This was a big head start for a streamer, as most of the regular streamers would have about one or two audience members watching in their initial phases, which might grow to double digits if they continue to grow for a while. But for CR7 Horaa, it didn't take long for that 100 to turn into 1000 viewers, and now with over 388K subscribers on his YouTube channel and over 100K views in most of the live streams that he does, Gautam has garnered quite the fanbase for himself in a little over two years that he has been actively streaming on the platform.

"People don't come to my stream to watch me play a game. There are better players than me. They come to my stream because they get entertained and I want to keep them entertained,"

And this fanbase and fame also come with lots of perks too, with Gautam being a part of PUBG Mobile's revenue sharing programme, as a PUBG Partner, and being a part of numerous campaigns by PUBG Mobile in Nepal including promotional materials, appearances in their official channels and social media platforms. He even had the opportunity to have his voice be a part of the game as a Voice Pack that is available to PUBG Mobile players, alongside that of popular names in Nepal like actor Buddhi Tamang and fellow PUBG Mobile Streamer 4K Gaming Nepal.

Gautam has also been fortunate to have the support of an amazing team, that includes the members of the Horaa gang with whom he streams on a regular basis. "I'm thankful to everyone who has been a part of this journey with me. Their support has kept me going..., especially Sadey, Sekri, Mama, Limbe and Bishnu who are parts of my stream almost every day", he says.

Gautam is also a believer in giving back to the community, and he uses the fame and fortune that he has gotten because of the community to help those in need. He has done numerous charity streams on his channel, accompanied by well-known faces in Nepal including Balen Shah, Vek, Yabesh Thapa and Anjan Bista. He has also helped artists to grow their audience by inviting them to his stream where they get to entertain, interact and grow their audience.

Gautam says not much has changed about himself throughout this journey. Yes, maybe he carries himself a bit differently, given the position he is in, but other than that he says he's the same kid who dreamed of making it big somehow. Before being a stream, except for the occasional appearances in the competitive scene of PUBG Mobile, he wasn't doing any work. He even had plans to go abroad, but those plans were halted by the global pandemic. But because of that he took up streaming and truly shined through his talents and dedication becoming one of the most well-known faces in the Nepali gaming community. From streaming using just two phones, one to play PUBG Mobile on and the other to read the chats and comments on his stream, to get to the level he is at right now, Sanjan Gautam and the name CR7 Horaa have truly come a long way.
