LOS ANGELES: Desperate Housewives has spent so much on the outfits and accessories

of the leading ladies that they are now facing a credit crunch.

As a result, US network ABC has set new strict spending guidelines for the stars’ wardrobes in order to curb the expenses.

“Everyone is looking at costs and there are guidelines for every single department,” the Sun quoted a spokesman, as saying.

According to the new guidelines, no more than $150 can be spent on accessories and $250 is the limit for shoes.
