Sheryl Crow has been given the all-clear from breast cancer.

The singer was diagnosed with the potentially fatal disease earlier this year, but has now been told she is cancer free by doctors. She said: “I went to the doctor and I had a mammogram. I can’t lie to you — it hurt. They did a whole bunch of different shots of both breasts and, as far as I know, I’m free and clear.”

However, Crow, 44, has been told she must go and have a check-up every six months for the next three years to make sre the cancer does not return.
