KATHMANDU: Popularly known for his role in Sherlock, Hollywood actor Benedict Cumberbatch was spotted in the Capital on November 4 and 5. Photos of Cumberbatch shooting scenes in Pashupatinath Temple, and visiting Thamel and New Road area posted by tweeter users are going viral.

According to ComicBook.com, and various other news portals Cumberbatch is in Nepal filming scenes

for the star’s upcoming Marvel superhero movie Doctor Strange. However, the actual purpose of

Cumberbatch’s visit is yet to be confirmed.

There is also a rumour that he is staying in Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu. However, the personal from Hyatt refused shelling out information about his stay and arrival, saying “we are not aware of this”.
