KATHMANDU: They want to make a difference, and they want to do it in a different way. Calling themselves three housewives who’ve joined forces to make a difference in children’s lives in some way, Shrijana Rana-Dixit, Madhu Rana and Hilda Fisler are organising the ‘Dazzling Damsels’ at the Yak and Yeti on December 15.

A charity event in aid of Pabitra Samaj Sewa orphanage, the night promises to be nothing less than exciting. The orphanage is not aided by any organisation and looks after 20 children.

Describing their event, the trio, who last year hosted the much appreciated ‘Housewives on the Ramp’, say it will be an evening of fashion, models and stars, with dinner and music with a DJ to dance the night away.

What’s interesting is that the models will be from every professional walk of life. You can expect doctors to share space with lawyers or teachers...
