Dargah panel may sue Katrina
AJMER:
A panel constituted by the administration of the Ajmer Sharif dargah to investigate the shooting of a Bollywood film at the premises without prior permission, will soon lodge police cases against the film’s director and actors.
The panel will also probe those who helped actor Katrina Kaif perform ziyarat at the dargah of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti during the shooting of the film Namaste London on October 2.
Katrina was wearing a short dress during the ritual, which violated the dargah dress code as women are required to cover their head, hands and legs during the ceremony.
Dargah Committee Chairman Pirzada Shibali Kasim has set up the panel, which has already started probing the matter and will soon lodge cases against director of
the film Vipul Shah, actors Katrina Kaif, Rishi Kapoor and the rest of the film crew. — Agencies
