Day for grandparents
KATHMANDU:
It was quite an eventful day for the children of Euro Kids Pre-school on November 29. Excited and nervous, yet confidently the students came on stage and performed for their grandparents for the second Grand Parents day which was very much appreciated by the grandparents. The programme began with Class I students singing the national anthem, which was followed by five-year-olds reciting a Nepali poem to welcome the guests. A lively performance was give by play group singing nursery rhymes and also dancing to a Nepali song. The seniors gave a beautiful performance by dancing to the song Sanskriti by Mantra. Nursery children took the stage acting to nursery rhymes and dancing to Nepali songs. The juniors and seniors then came together to sing We Shall Overcome. Another appealing part of the programme was a one act play titled Grandparents Visit.
