Diesel remembers Walker at Teen Choice Awards
LOS ANGELES: Late Hollywood actor Paul Walker was honoured by his Fast and Furious co-stars, including Vin Diesel and Jordana Brewster, at 2015 Teen Choice Awards. Diesel and Brewster paid tribute to Walker, who died aged 40 two years ago in a car accident, during their acceptance speech for choice movie: action, reported Aceshowbiz.
“We make these movies with our hearts. We really are a family. My kids refer to Luda as ‘Uncle Luda’,” Diesel began his speech. “We are a true, true, true family. You fans have been so incredible to us and have encouraged us and made us reach higher each time.”
Diesel then got emotional when addressing Walker and the actor’s daughter Meadow. He said, “I can’t stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about somebody very, very, very important to us. One of the best blessings in our lives is the fact that we have the opportunity to call Pablo our brother. Paul Walker is here in spirit with us.”
