KATHMANDU: To mark the Children’s Day and the 32nd anniversary of the school, the Holy Garden School organised the ‘Second Holy Inter-school Art Competition’ recently. A total of 119 students from 34 schools participated in the competition under the themes ‘Vision of Future Nepal’ and ‘Festival of Nepal’. Renu Gurung, Sagar Samat and Astha Shrestha stood first, second and third respectively in Group A, while Kumar Lama and Dip Kumar Lama won the consolation prizes. In Group B, Tenzing Tsekyl stood first, while Nabin Lama and Deepak

Balami came second and third. The consolation prize winners in this group were Naghma Shrestha and Pratima Rai. — HNS

KATHMANDU: With an objective to let students display their creative talents, a Science and Information Communication Competition was organised by Alok Vidyashram. The finals was graced by Minister for Science and Technology Mahant Thakur on September 21. The winners for the juniors section were Shreeyansh Agarwal who came first, Ayushi Khetan from DAVSKVB came second, and Aryan Agarwal third. Winners for Senior ICT section were Deepak Adhikari and Pratik Acha-rya from Baba Boarding School who stood first, Vigyan Shah, Sujan Tamrakar, Prakat Khati and Aadish Rajbhandari from Little Angels’ stood second, Shivam and Niraj Agarwal from DAV stood third. The winners of the Junrior Science section were Nishant Jha from DAVSKVB (first), Yash Kanodia from Alok Vidyashram came second, and Krishu Shree Sapkota from Alok Vidy-ashram stood third. In the senior section, San-desh Ahir and Dilip Kha-rel from Bhanu Bhakta Memorial School stood first, Satish Thapa and Susan Rai from Gyanodaya stood second and Navin Ghimire and Narayan Shreshta from SOS Herman Gmeiner, Kavre stood third. — HNS
