Fate’s games
In a village, there were two families — one poor, the other rich.
The poor family hardly had one meal a day. A girl child was born into the poor family. This was awful because in that society, a girl was looked down upon. They cried at their fate.
However, the rich family was blessed with the birth of a son.
Due to poverty, the poor family had to send their daughter to a government school. The girl was aware about her family’s condition, so she studied hard and tried her best to save money. On the other hand, the rich boy was pampered by his family. He was not at all interested in studies.
They grew up in the same society and the same village. The girl was talented so she became the chief district officer. The boy was weak in studies but was good at games. He was made the captain of his team.
The boy’s team won a game and when it was time to receive trophy, he was aghast to see the girl from a poor family whom he used to hate and neglect as the chief guest and the one giving away the trophy.
This was a lesson for the boy and he swore he would never look down upon and hate people who were less fortunate than.
As for the girl, she became an example for all girls of her village as well as the country.
