Fresh fruit raita
The warm days are here again and we have already started relishing the dahi-chiura. But one wouldn’t like to eat this every time. So why not try out this easy yet delicious mixed fruit raita? It doesn’t take much time. Take a generous helping in a bowl and chill out with your favourite paperback.
You’ll need
• 2 cups curd (yogurt)
• 3 bananas
• 1 small pineapple
• 2 apples
• 1 mango
• 1 cup pomegranate seeds
• Chopped coriander leaves
• Sugar to taste
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper powder to taste
Directions
• Put the curd in a piece of cloth and hang it for 45 minutes till the water seeps out.
• Cut the fruits into small cubes and set aside.
• Stir the curd with hand mixer properly and mix salt, sugar.
• Add the fruits to the curd.
• Chill for 30 minutes.
• Garnish it with chop-ped coriander, pomegranate seeds, pepper powder.
