KATHMANDU:

Exotic Resort and Water Kingdom, the first of its kind amusement park in Nepal, was inaugurated by Minister for Local Development Rajendra Pandey amidst a function on September 16.

Located 60 km from the Capital on the banks of Trishuli river, the amusement park and resort aims at catering to a wide variety city denizens as well as tourists visiting to bask in the beauty of the Himalayan country.

The resort presently has six different amusement options at the Water Kingdom including lazy river, kids slides, family slides, couple pool and play pane to cater to a variety of public. The resort also boasts of various other facilities — a multi-cuisine restaurant, locker rooms, shower, costumes, which are available for rent and a magnificent picnic spot.

Speaking to The Himalayan Times, chairman of the resort OP Pandey said, “The state of the art equipment and facilities available at the park meets even the international standards. So, we not only believe that the park will be an oasis from the hustle and bustle of city life, but will also be a perfect spot on the highway for passengers to drop in.”
