Gandhi’s works available online

KATHMANDU: If you are interested to know about the letters and speeches made to public by Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi, then there is a good news for you. The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu has made the collected works of Gandhi available on its website.

Commemorating the 68th death anniversary of Gandhi at the 25th edition of Cinemandu, ‘The Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi’ — a document of Gandhi’s words as he spoke and wrote during different times of his life was uploaded on the Embassy’s website indianembassy.org.np on January 29.

Available in different volumes, it can be accessed/downloaded free from the e-Book section of the website.

“However, the collected works will be available only for a week,” informed Ruby Jaspreet Sharma, Press Secretary at the Indian Embassy.

On the same occasion, Gandhi, an Oscar winning film directed by Richard Attenborough, featuring Hollywood Actor Ben Kingsley in Gandhi’s role was also screened.

The event organised by the Embassy in association with BP Koirala India-Nepal Foundation was held at the Nepal Bharat Library, Sundhara.
