KATHMANDU: The second Grand Australian Education Exhibition was held at Alfa Beta Complex from August 15-17.
Around 15 stalls had been put up for different colleges and universities in Australia, a few of whose representatives were also present.
Besides providing information to around 2,000 students who had come
to the exhibition, seminars, individual counselling and on-the-spot admissions were also
conducted.
According to Udeep Khadka, Senior Business Development Officer, Alfa Beta Institute, though colleges and universities offered courses in all streams like Humanities, Science and Management, the most popular ones were Hotel Management and Nursing.
To reach a even wider scope of students the exhibition will continue in other areas outside the Valley.
The exhibition will not only focus on Australian but US universities as well. The schedule is as follows —
•Chitwan: August 19 and 20
•Butwal: August 22 and 23
•Pokhara: August 25 and 26
Entry is free.
