Gibson to make film on Pope

LONDON: After ‘The Passion of Christ’, Mel Gibson is reportedly set to turn Pope John Paul II’s story into a Hollywood movie.

Gibson, who is a devout Roman Catholic, has filmed the ending to the movie. He also reportedly despatched a production crew to Rome to film the Pope’s funeral. Pope John Paul II, who headed the Roman Catholic Church for 26 years, was known to have been a gifted actor in his youth. — HNS
