Go for Po’s adventure
Kathmandu
With beautiful animation, some lessons to learn, amazing kung fu moves, new powerful villain and abundance of jokes, Kung Fu Panda 3 is back. And so are the antics of Po (Jack Black). When all these come together, the film is entertaining and enthralling. The animation about Po’s adventure is worth watching and leaves you content — what else can you ask from a film?
Po (Jack Black) is handed new role of a teacher while Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) retires. His life spices up even more when his long-lost panda father suddenly reappears in his life. On the other hand, villain named Kai (J K Simmons) shows up from the realm of spirit. He is on the way to destroy the legacy of Master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim) and Po as the Dragon Warrior is the only one who can stop him.
The film is short and crisp. The steady pace and its different elements keep you hooked to the film without letting you feel a single moment of boredom. There are more pandas in the film, so the fun quotient multiplies.
Directors Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni have come up with another engaging flick.
Kung Fu Panda 3 sure is an entertaining caper but it doesn’t surpass the film’s previous instalments. It doesn’t heighten the franchise which one would expect it to do. It has nothing new to offer in terms of characters’ development or story. And the formula to make people laugh is same — antics of Po and the likes which one is not surprised about. Moreover, you won’t laugh intensely in the jokes.
Kung Fu Panda 3 is visually splendour. The beautiful scene of panda village, fight scenes and the movements of petals of cherry blossoms are visually appealing and have elevated the film.
