Yana launches Dior Girly

MUMBAI: Christian Dior launched its spring 2004 collection of watches in India. Their latest range of watches — Dior Girly in feminine pink and white — was launched by Yana Gupta, who is Miss Dior for India.

What’s there in a name

MUMBAI: So far Ram Gopal Verma’s film had constantly varying titles. So Shanti Kutir became Vastu Shastra) and Murder at Srikrishna Building became 2’O Clock Murder which was further renamed as Murder at 2.But this time it’s not just the title that is changing. It’s also the storyline that alters. So his film Murder at 2 co-produced by Anil Kapoor will now have two versions. Everything in the film would be same except for the ending. The two versions are renamed again as Galti Se and Jaan Bujhke.

Anil Kapoor plays Ravi Patwardhan, a simple middle class man running his editing studio. He has a nagging wife (Suchitra Krishnamurthy) who persistently mistrusts him. He desperately wants to get rid of his wife and one bad day his wish comes true. So in Galti Se, he kills his wife by mistake while the act in Jaan Bujhke is intentional. Both the versions are being shot simultaneously and will be released on the same day.

Twinkle has other designs

MUMBAI: Twinkle Khanna stopped taking film offers after getting married to Akshay Kumar but she is not content to play the role of an idle housewife. Twinkle has a desire to create trends and to kick start a new fangled approach to design in interiors and furniture.

The line consists of furniture in contemporary shapes to suit the modern home, but with intricate detailing to add a touch of magnificence. “The idea was to add the decorative to the functional in furniture design. A move away from prevalent minimalism,” said Twinkle. Twinkle will also stock Tania Deol’s (Bobby Deol’s wife) line for her store ‘White Window’.

Lara fancies the female form

MUMBAI: This is what the Bollywood onscreen temptress has to say in the latest issue of Stardust. Lara Dutta shares her unbiased views on sex, sex and more sex in an interview in the magazine . She talks about how sex is an important part of a relationship and how a relationship is an important part of sex.

Some of Lara’s honest quotes include “The most important thing when you’re having sexual intercourse is ‘Are you making your partner happy?’” and expresses that “I honestly believe that one of the main reasons we were put on earth was to procreate and to keep a species alive”.She claims, “In a relationship being forced to participate in sexual intercourse is definitely rape.” On a lighter note, “I think the female form is far more attractive than the male body. If I had to see a nude body of a woman or a man, I’d any day pick a woman... I myself dress for other women because the women are going to check me out more than the men are”. She concludes saying that a small ratio of men can accept sexually aggressive woman dominating in bed.

From Russia with love

MUMBAI: Hrithik Roshan has the highest of fan following in Russia. Recently, a group of Russian tourists on their visit to Mumbai insisted that they wanted to see Hrithik Roshan. If they couldn’t get to see the star in himself, they wanted to at least catch a glimpse of his house in Mumbai’s posh Juhu Scheme. When Hrithik learnt about it, not only did he promptly go to the airport so as to be the first one that they meet when they arrive in Mumbai but also posed with each one of the 40 odd Russians. The other two actors who have had massive fan following in Russia have been Raj Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty.
