Heigl doesn’t want Emmy nomination

LONDON: Actress Katherine Heigl of the hit TV show Grey’s Anatomy is so unhappy with the scripts of this year’s episodes that she doesn’t want to be considered for an Emmy award.

She had received an Emmy award for best supporting actress last year for the show. Contactmusic.com quotes her as saying, “I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination.” Moreover, she added, such a nomination would reflect badly on the television academy’s “integrity”. The nominations will be released July 17.
