LONDON: Acclaimed actor Robert Downey Jr reveals he is addicted to old re-runs of the TV show The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.

Downey Jr won acclaim for his performance in the hit movie Iron Man and now he is set to play a detective in the British director Guy Ritchie’s new film.

“I’m done with the whole hellraising days — I prefer to stay home these days and watch old re-runs,” said the actor.

Downey is also set to be the talk of the town as he gets ready to play a white actor who dyes

his skin black to play an African-American soldier in the comedy Tropic Thunder.
