A father who doesn’t want to marry off his three daughters, and three guys convincing him to let them marry his daughters — this is the basic storyline of Housefull 3. The third movie of the Housefull franchise, is not different in terms of the storyline, it revolves around the same old love story of rich girls and poor guys falling in love. But the powerful comedy makes it a fun flick.

The film revolves around Batuk Patel (Boman Irani), a London-based Indian businessman, who has three daughters Ganga-Gracy (Jacqueline Fernandez), Jamuna-Jenny (Lisa Hayden) and Saraswoti-Shera (Nargis Fakhri). He doesn’t want to marry them off. So, he lies to them with help of his old friend Pasta (Chunky Pandey), that if any of the girl gets married, he will die. But then three men Sandy (Akshay Kumar), Bunty (Abhishek Bachchan) and Teddy (Ritesh Deshmukh) make the girls fall for them. Then a Mumbai-based gangster Urja Nagarik (Jackie Shroff) appears in their lives, and the film takes a new turn.

Housefull 3 tickles your bones with many comic incidents. When Kumar turns from Sandy into Soondy due to a personality disorder, he beats others and himself — and he is funnier when he does this. Acting wise, all actors have delivered impressive performances, but it is Kumar who steals the show, especially when he becomes Soondy.

Bachchan singing funny rap and the tricks that Irani does in the role of Batuk to chase away the boys from his house make you laugh out loud.

Director-duo Sajid-Farhad have put together all the elements of the film beautifully. There is lots of confusion, chaos and humour and all these factors have been well presented, making the film a fun watch.
